HINDRANCES TO PRAYER- “AN UNFORGIVING SPIRIT”

* An Unforgiving spirit is sure Death to any Prayer Life.

   -Unforgiveness causes any Believer to become Spiritual Constipation.

* Mark 11:25-26- “And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have

   ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may

   forgive you your trespasses”.

 -“But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven

   forgive your trespasses”.

* Rules for Getting over Hurt Feelings…

   - DON’T CURSE THEM- “I Can’t Stand Him/Her”.

   - DON’T NURSE THEM- “The Why Me Attitude”.

   - DON’T REHEARSE THEM- “Keep Repeating What Happened your Mind”

   - DON’T DISPERSE THEM- “Telling It To Others”.

HINDRANCES TO PRAYER- “HOME RELATIONSHIPS”

* Satan’s Plan is to Cause Division & Destroy Marriages and Families.

   -It is Impossible to be Wrong at Home and Right at Church.

   -It is Difficult to Pray over Mess.

* 1 Peter 3:7- “Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with [them] according to 

   knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, 

   and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be 

   not hindered”.

HINDRANCES TO PRAYER- “INTIMACY WITH GOD”

* How much Time you Spend & Strive to Spend with God tell a lot about

   your Relationship with God.

   

* We Gladly make time for a Person we have Intimate Relationship with.

* Psalms 63:1- “O God, thou [art] my God; early will I seek thee: my 

   soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty 

   land, where no water is”.

* The Way We Pray says a lot about our Relationship with the Lord.

   -“Outgrow the Cop-out of Praying in your Mind Only.” Pray Outward!
